Julia West Miller is a music educator, vocal coach, and performer based in Stockholm, Sweden. Originally from Seattle (United States), she was hailed by The Seattle Times as one of the "region's best opera voices." She continued her development at Florida State University, where she received her master's degree in 2015 in the university's highly esteemed opera program. As a performer, she has won regional and national recognition from organizations like The Metropolitan Opera National Council and the Seattle Opera Guild. As a voice teacher and coach, her students have worked all over the world, including on Broadway. She has worked as a theatrical music director, a choral and band director, and a college instructor of music.
